The soundtrack is the heart of the COD Modern Warfare Series. A sad news for COD fanboys as the Composer is leaving. According to Sarah Schachner, She will no longer be writing music for COD nor will she get involved in future Call of Duty Projects. She has blamed the Audio director for “increasingly challenging” working dynamics.
Sarah Schachner has worked on popular projects like Anthem, AC Valhalla, and COD: Infinite Warfare. Due to her conflict with the Audio director, she won’t be doing any further projects in near future. She became quite popular due to her work in COD: Infinite Warfare.
Schachner said in her statement that she is feeling sad that she can no longer compose music for COD Titles. She can’t seem to see any path moving forward as the work with the audio director has become increasingly challenging.
She isn’t sure about her status and release plan for the COD soundtrack. She proceeded by saying that doesn’t have control over how music is presented in video games and that she would like to appreciate the hard work of the audio team. She hoped that fans would love her hard work for the COD community.
She wrote on her Twitter handle that in the past couple of months the working dynamics became challenging with the audio director.
